Warnath Group collaborated with Jamaica’s National Task Force Against Trafficking in Persons (NATFATIP) and other key agencies to develop a user-friendly guide for Jamaican officials who encounter child victims of trafficking and other crimes. The recommendations are intended to assist officials in engaging and interacting positively with children under 18 using a child-sensitive, victim-centered approach and trauma-informed techniques grounded in Jamaican and international good practices.

This document is part of Warnath Group’s initiatives under the U.S. – Jamaica Child Protection Compact Criminal Justice Program, funded by the U.S. Department of State. The program strengthens the capacity of the Jamaican government and civil society to address all forms of child trafficking in Jamaica.

The document supports the operation and sustainability of child-friendly spaces and the training and technical assistance that have been key components of Warnath Group’s Program in Jamaica.
