Warnath Group is honored to partner with the Jamaican Constabulary Force on a series of trainings focused on a victim-centered approach to the investigation of the crime of child trafficking. The courses cover several important topics including understanding the Jamaican trafficking law, victim identification, assistance and referral, the impact of trauma, and interviewing victims. This hybrid series includes several courses that are delivered live online, while others are attended live in-person, responding to the needs of the participants. The most recent training on corroborating evidence was well attended by C-TOC officers and several heads of units over three days in Kingston, Jamaica and included investigators from the Office of the Children’s Advocate and senior officers from the Office of the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons (ONRTIP).
The training series has been made possible by the US State Department under the US-Jamaica Child Protection Compact.
